In the framework of the "Next mobility exhibition - People, buses, coaches: means, solutions and policies for a sustainable mobility system" (Fiera Milano, 12-14 October 2022), Swiss Business Hub Italia and the Embassy of Switzerland propose a specific workshop "From theory to practice: Swiss examples of sustainable mobility", in the wake of the cycle of events La Svizzera delle idee. After an initial institutional speech, the speakers will illustrate some concrete innovative examples of realisations in the field of sustainable mobility by Swiss companies and cities.
The event is also an interesting showcase and networking opportunity for Swiss players, given the fact that local public transport in Italy represents a market with a total turnover of more than 12 billion euros per year, more than 1,000 active companies, over 126,000 employees and 5.2 billion passengers transported each year. The international 'Next mobility exhibition' brings together every two years 100 companies active in the sustainable and innovative mobility sector, Italian and foreign buyers and over 10,000 visitors.
